Do you have a story to tell?

Niagara Books is now accepting manuscripts for e-publication.

How it works:

1)    You email us a query letter (customerservice@niagarabooks.net) detailing the following information:

a)     Manuscript title

b)    A short plot synopsis

c)     Length of manuscript

d)    Genre

2)    If we are interested, the next step would be to forward us your manuscript;

3)    One of our editors will read the manuscript and create an edited manuscript for your review;

4)    Once the manuscript is ready for publication we will design a cover and assign your manuscript an ISBN number

5)    We will list the e-published book on our website and other channels for sale.

Pros of e-Publishing:

1)    Authoring books is a tough business to break into.  We will consider manuscripts that many publishers would not!

2)    Each book e-published by Niagara books will be assigned an ISBN number.  This means that anyone can walk into any bookstore and order your book.

3)    E-Publishing is one of the fastest growing mediums for books.

4)    Unlike most e-Publishers we will spend time marketing your publications through digital marketing. 

5)    We offer a more generous royalties structure than most publishers.

Cons of e-Publishing:

1)    Many traditional publishers do not consider e-Publishing a legitimate publication.  But then again many mail order companies never thought that Internet thing would take off.

2)    E-Publishers will spend considerably less time promoting you as an author and your publications than a traditional publisher.

3)    There are no advances in e-Publishing; however, royalties are paid from the first sale.
