Niagara Books is proud to offer this faux-leather edition of Selected Plays, by William Shakespeare, published in 1981 by the Franklin Library of Franklin Center, Pennsylvania.
This 8vo volume of classic Shakespeare is bound in black faux leather with gilt designs on the spine and boards. Overall the book is in good (VG) condition and does not have a dust jacket (no dust jacket was included with this volume). There are three raised ribs and the title, author, and designs are gilt lettered on the spine. In addition designs on the boards are gilt and this book has gilt edged pages. All four corners are slightly bumped and rubbed. In addition, the gilt page edges are slightly bumped. The binding is tight and all text block, decorative endpapers, and fly-leaves are all intact and all pages are generally free from writing or other markings. All seven illustrations are in good shape. The book measures 9 ¾ x 6 ½ x 1 ¾ and has 655 pages.
Please note, although I cannot smell smoke or mustiness in this book, I cannot guarantee that this book came from a smoke or pet free home.
