Niagara Books is proud to offer this three-volume, half-leather set of the Dramatic Works of Shakespeare: Complete in Three Volumes, by William Shakespeare, published in 1821 by Alexander Black, Foreign Library of London, England. All three volumes are half leather and are in good (G) condition. Each volume has a frontispiece plate and a quotation.
Although worn, each spine is labeled in gilt lettering with half title, volume number and decoration on the spine’s foot and head. The binding is shaken slightly but it is still securely attached. Volume one is inscribed with a gift inscription and volume three is inscribed with a previous owner’s name. Additionally, the title page of each volume is inscribed with a previous owner’s name. All text block and fly-leaves are intact and with the exception of some minor soiling and foxing, all pages are generally free from writing or other markings. The edges of each spine and boards are bumped, rubbed and chipped. Each book measures 6 ¾ x 4 ¼ and have 312, 408, 400 pages.
Please note, although I cannot smell smoke or mustiness in this book, I cannot guarantee that this book came from a smoke or pet free home.

Volume three contains: King Henry the Eighth, Troilus and Cressida, Timon of Athens, Coriolanus, Julius Caesar, Anthony and Cleopatra, Cymbeline, Titus Andronicus, Pericles, Prince of Tyre, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, and Othello, the Moor of Venice.
